My wife went to Old Sac with me last Sunday to participate in Photowalking 5 (with Thomas Hawk and Robert Scoble). We were there to shoot the Sacramento Train Museum. We had a lot of fun meeting with everyone and the museum was very interesting. We’re planning on going back in a few weeks with our two children.
Afterwards, my wife and I went out for dinner and then walked over the Tower Bridge to shoot it at sunset. I love bridges and sunsets, but I’m still amazed that this shot is by far the most popular shot I took the entire day.
So, after spending some time around Thomas Hawk and Kristopher Tate, I am now actually beginning to use my dusty Blogger account and the Zooomr account I setup a while back. I thought Zooomr looked interesting when I first became aware of it, but I already had so many contacts on Flickr that I wasn’t sure how much time I wanted to spend investigating another photosharing site. Well, now I’ve decided to give it a little try. If nothing else, they got me to start blogging.
I don’t know if this will go anywhere. Only time will tell.
